INQUIRY

Double bias fabric is equivalent to two layers of unidirectional fabric that overlap at 90°. Since most of the unidirectional fibers are in one direction (unlike woven fabrics that cross), it means that when pressure is applied in the laminate, the fibers will not "deform" like woven fabrics, so the tensile strength of the entire laminate is improved.
